The Bluffs at Conner Prairie Wedding
Imagine a perfect Autumn day, a little chilly in the morning and evening and very pleasant with a breeze during the day. That was Branden and Alli’s wedding day on Saturday. The bridal party got ready very close to St. Mary Catholic Church where the ceremony was held. After a sweet first look, we all traveled to the new bottle works district. And then we all made our way to St. Mary to watch Branden and Alli become man and wife. A trolley took the bridal party to The Bluffs at Conner Prarie for a beautiful reception. The guests enjoyed a lovely outdoor cocktail hour on top of the hill overlooking the river. And we made sure to schedule enough time into the day for the bride and groom to enjoy part of the cocktail hour with their friends and family.
“…the flower girl adorably “slid into first base…”
All the details of the day were well thought out, all the way down to the earrings and perfume being the same color. Alli’s dress was really unique with a cool texture that gave a nod to fall leaves. I was happy to see she decided to have a veil for the first half of the day. You know me, I’m always up for playing around with a gorgeous veil in the wind. The guys wore navy and the girls had different shades of burgundy. Branden’s little niece was the flower girl and adorably “slid into first base” as she finished her walk down the aisle.
Alli and Branden met while at college. Half the bridal party were school friends and it was fun to hear some of their perspectives on the relationship. There were lots of laughs and some happy tears during speech time. Oh, and Alli and her dad surprised everyone with an awesome choreographed dance!
Tim and I were honored to document your amazing day, Alli and Branden! We wish you all the best as you start your married life together!
