Evangeline Renee : Wedding Photographers | New Promo Film

Evangeline Renee Wedding Photographers

It’s finally done!

Being a photographer and having a filmmaker husband has taught me how powerful and important a good promo video can be. And still, it tends to be hard to actually make your own. I know what others should do but making my own seems more challenging. I’ve had promo videos before but I knew it was time for something updated. The business is over 11 years old now and although my editing style has stayed true to life I’ve changed my philosophies, and grown in my technical abilities and posing. And of course, it’s just nice to have updated work in there.

We’ve spent hours upon hours filming and looking through all our footage in hopes of capturing what Evangeline Renee is all about. We also added a little clip showing our kids, because of course, they’re a huge part of our life. It makes me want to cry when I see them running around. I just love them so much. I know being a mother has only helped me understand love a little bit more. And how important capturing moments really are.

“we’re thankful for the life-long friendships we’ve made with so many of them!”

A special thanks to Hannah and Stephen and Alea and Branden for taking the time to talk about their experiences. I wasn’t in the room when they were filming because I didn’t want to make it awkward or influence what they said. But I did listen to the interviews afterward and totally teared up. We are just so blessed and grateful for such amazing couples that really connect with our work. And we’re thankful for the life-long friendships we’ve made with so many of them!

I could just silently post the video to my website and call it good. It’s always a little intimidating to put your personality really out there for the world to see and critique. But if you don’t like my work or personality then it’s good to know now, and not find out on your wedding day! And my husband put so much work into this that it deserves to have its own blog post. Thank you, Tim, for the editing-all-nighters and everything you put into this!

When people ask me where my dream wedding would be I used to say “of course, on a private estate over-looking the ocean”. But now I realize my ideal wedding is wherever my brides (and grooms) are. Wherever an #evysbride is getting married to the love of her life, that’s where I want to be.

I’d love for you to check out the new video and tell me what you think! And feel free to pop over to the website and see it in its new home in the about section. I’m always changing pictures and putting up new work so feel free to check the site from time to time. Thanks for your interest in my life and business!
