The Folmar Tyler Texas Wedding Photographer

This is it. This is the last time I’ll ever write a blog post for a sister’s engagement shoot. Heidi is the baby and the last sister to get married on both sides of our family. I’m feeling a little “bittersweet” over here, but mostly sweet. Matthew is a great guy and we’re happy to have him join the family.

Heidi and Matthew have known each other for six years and good friends for about three. The real friendship started on a fateful day when Matthew randomly and surprisingly agreed to help film a short movie with Heidi and her friends. He hadn’t spent much time with Heidi up to that point but soon realized she was pretty amazing.

A few weeks ago, Matthew proposed on a dock in the middle of a lake. Heidi happily said yes after she got over her shock and surprise. As soon as she called to tell me the news we started making plans to drive down for her engagement shoot. The Folmar was a gorgeous backdrop. It’s like a little slice of France in the middle of East Texas.

Heidi and Matthew are so great together and we can’t wait to celebrate their marriage in the fall.
