I remember when I met Anna, she was the bubbly, fun outgoing bridesmaid at a wedding rehearsal for one of my couples. She was totally the life of the party. Jonny is her perfect match, they complement each other so well. I extra approve of Johnny because he reminds me of a lot of my own husband.
Anna unashamedly got her wedding dress for the back and pockets. I found myself thinking throughout the day wow, Anna looks good from this angle and from that angle, just all the angles. And when she smiles and her dimples show that’s my favorite. Anna was the epitome of elegance. The girls were in different shades of blush. And the guys wore navy suits with blush ties. The story of how Johnny and Anna met is pretty fun. Johnny’s younger sister(s) like to take credit for the match. And rightfully so from what I hear.
The morning was filled with lots of friends and family and fun music. I love walking into a morning atmosphere and feeling the vibe of the place. If the morning was any indication, and it normally is, the rest the day was going to be really fun and sweet. Anna and Johnny love kids, you can tell by how many of their nieces and nephew‘s they had in the wedding. Their bridal party was the bomb. It’s not every day that you get asked to be in pictures with the bridal party. They seemed like our friends by the end of the night! And I got to see some of my former couples which always makes me so happy.
“It was the sweetest thing and produced one of my very favorite hugging shots of all time.”
Can we talk about the first look with Anna‘s dad? It was the sweetest thing and produced one of my very favorite hugging shots of all time. For Johnny and Anna’s first look we went to a really cool park. Johnny said he remembered playing there as a kid. He was just overjoyed to see Anna and was blown away by his gorgeous girl in a wedding dress.
We can thank Johnny for his love of Mexican food and the amazing reception dinner choice. They also had donuts, a very appropriate choice being national donut day weekend. The donuts were from Long’s Bakery, only the best donuts around.
There was one kid tearing up the dance floor and making all my childhood dreams of being able to do a backflip come to the surface. Someday I will do one, I will!
Oh, and please tell me I’m not the only one that thinks Anna has a resemblance to Taylor Swift.
