Indianapolis Central Library Wedding
Where do I even start with this absolutely gorgeous wedding held at the Indiana Statehouse and The Indianapolis Central Library ?!
I remember the first wedding I photographed were Drew was a groomsman, he was fun and everybody seemed to like him a lot. The next time he was a groomsman at another wedding and this time he had a really pretty, dark curly haired girl on his arm who also seemed very fun and cool. I remember getting a shot of them dancing and thinking they looked really good together.
Turns out these two had met and pretty quickly figured out that they really liked each other. I was so happy to see their inquiry about wedding photography. They were having their ceremony at The Statehouse and reception at The Indianapolis Central Library. I was even more excited once I did their engagement session and actually got to meet Kelli. She is so sweet, fun and somebody who I could be friends with forever.
As you can see from this blog post this wedding was absolutely incredible. They had the most fun bridal party which consisted of many groomsmen who had been in previous weddings of ours. The bridesmaids were absolutely stunning. There are also five or six of my past couples at the reception. I was just having so much fun seeing everybody again!
The bridesmaid dresses were different shades of blush. The guys wore navy suits and the gorgeous flowers were provided by McNamara Florist.
Can we just talk about how good-looking this bridal party is, seriously?
“The day was literally perfect.”
Kelli and Drew’s first look was really sweet and at the very end they added in their adorable pup, Miller, who is a special part of their story and family.
Kelli wore a dress from Sophia‘s Bridal, jewelry given to her by her aunt/godmother. Kelli’s dad tells the story of Kelli being the first girl granddaughter in the lineup of many grandsons. Her family called her princess Kelli. She really did look like a princess, kind, gracious, fun, and of course gorgeous. Both Kelli and Drew’s families are just so sweet I loved getting to spend the whole day with everybody. I just felt like part of the family.
Jessica Dum Coordinators and Jim Cerone kept the ceremony and reception running smoothly. This was one fun reception! From the best man speech that had me crying in laughter to delicious food and a flash mob on the dance floor. Nobody really wanted to leave at the end.
I really am so excited for Drew and Kelli (and Miller) as they start their married life together. I think they’re off on the right track right now as they’re reading this blog post in a tropical paradise.

These pictures make me smile. The joy and happiness of the day were captured beautifully!
Hiring Evy to photograph our wedding was the first decision we made after deciding on our date and venue. She has photographed SIX of our friends weddings (if that doesn’t show how amazing she is, I don’t know what would!!) and we hope that number continues to rise! From the moment we contacted her about our wedding, we knew she was the right person. When hiring a wedding photographer, you want someone who is going to be able to have fun with your family and friends, bring a fun and calming vibe to the day, and also capture the most stunning photos. Evy and her husband Tim did just that. Their photos are absolutely stunning, they are clean, beautiful, and romantic. We knew that she would do an amazing job, but she even surprised us by how incredible they turned out! They truly bring us back to all the special moments of our wedding day and that is something so cherished by Drew and I. This was the best decision we could have made. We cannot thank Evy and Tim enough!! With all the love – Kelli & Drew Farrington
