Franklin Indiana Photographer
I’ll admit it, I started tearing up as I was editing this engagement session. You see, the lovely bride is my little sister. And it finally hit me that she’s getting married! Sophia is basically the sweetest person you’d ever meet. No really, ask anyone. I can also speak for the rest of the family when I say we are all thrilled Angelo came along and swept her off her feet. They are just such great people and are going to be fantastic together.
Angelo, or Ang as we like to call him, flew all the way from Oklahoma to meet Sophia for this shoot. She had driven from Texas the night before. It was a whirlwind trip but I’m so happy they had me document this time for them. We only had one night to fit the shoot in so we were all praying for good weather on Friday night. The weather looked great the whole day until out of nowhere we had a massive downpour. We drove to Franklin, IN, and hoped for the best. I chose Franklin because it has an adorable older looking downtown and also a great park. As soon as we got there the sun broke out from behind the clouds and we got the light I had been envisioning for this all along. It was very happy indeed.
“It was very happy indeed”
Sophia and I grew up with lots of willow trees around the property. They remind us of home and good growing-up memories. As you’ll see we found a willow tree and the whole scene could have been straight from our childhood. When I started editing the willow tree pictures is when it all hit me and I started tearing up. I was looking at my little sister all grown up and beautiful, she is so happy and I couldn’t approve more of the guy that she’s going to spend the rest of her life with. If you know Sophia you know she really likes mustard as a color. The icing on the cake was to find the perfect mustard flower at the end of the shoot for their ring shots. Angelo gave Sophia his grandmother’s ring and they had some custom modifications done. How special is that?
Ang and Sophia, we love you and are so excited for you to get married!
