Columbus Indiana Photographers

Scott and Leah came all the way from the Chicago area for their engagement session. (And actually, Leah came all the way from Massachusetts.) I had given them a few choices for shoot locations and Leah loved the covered bridge at a local park in Columbus Indiana. It reminded her of out East, so Mill Race Park it was. The sunset was gorgeous and it feels to me like the perfect shoot to end on for this great Summer season.

I loved getting to meet these two after only corresponding over email and letter. They are a really sweet couple and it was fun to hear some of their love story! Apparently, they’ve known of each other “since they were born” but didn’t really connect until adulthood. And it sounds like after reconnecting it didn’t take long for them to realize this lifelong acquaintance could be something really special.  I heard about the thoughtful, and romantic proposal involving multiple locations, a sunset, and a song Scott wrote for Leah, how sweet is that? Original songs are kinda a mountaintop of romantic in my book. Maybe it’s just me, but I think Leah agrees.

As you scroll you’ll see what I mean when I say they can’t really take a bad picture. My camera and I love them. And I’m so very excited to be traveling out to Massachusetts for their wedding next year!
