Last Saturday Shelby and Taylor got married! I’ve been to more weddings than I can count and this one will always stand out in my mind for a few reasons. For one, it was so joy-filled. Everyone was so happy for this couple and of course, Taylor and Shelby were over the moon. I keep being drawn to the portraits that they’re just looking into each other’s eyes and smiling their faces off. It was so sweet to watch them together all day. Another thing that was apparent was that words were very important to these two. They both wrote long and sweet notes to each other. They wrote notes to parents, and parents had kind words for them. Their vows were written very intentionally and thoughtfully. The ceremony, speeches, and toasts were filled with words of wisdom and blessing.

The girls got ready at The Carmichael Hotel in Carmel, Indiana and the guys were close by. The weather was just gorgeous! Sunny with a mix of clouds and some breeze. Shelby looked just drop-dead gorgeous in her gown. And Taylor was dapper as can be, especially with his new watch from his bride. The reception was held at Meridian Hills Country Club. It was a beautiful backdrop for this special party. And speaking of party, the dance floor was never empty. And we can’t forget the amazing “flash mob” dance that Shelby secretly planned for Taylor with all the bridal party. At the end of the night, the couple made their getaway in a Rolls Royce.
