I’m so excited to share this wedding with you all!

Where are my OGs? The original readers of my blog. You might recognize a few faces from 7/8 years ago. I’ve shot for Hannah’s family a couple times before and I was thrilled she asked me to come back for her wedding! So obviously I’ve known Hannah’s family for years but I was so happy to meet Dan. The man that had been blessed with a really amazing girl. I walked into the church and the first person I saw was an old friend I used to work with. Turns out she was married to Dan’s brother. Small world!

After getting ready Hannah had a sweet first look with her dad and then we traveled to some nearby woods for her first look with Dan. She walked down the wooded path to a very happy groom. Hannah likes the wooded/natural look so we did most of their portraits in the woods. We got surprised by some rain and sleet but it cleared up quickly and we got great portraits for them. If you’ll notice Hannah and Dan have 10 nieces and nephews, 9 of them being boys. I have four boys myself so I could fully appreciate all that went into getting these pictures. They were such sweet kids and it was so cute to have them all around.

“The perfect storybook ending for this wonderful day. “

Hannah has taught music for years and trained hundreds of students. She’s so good with kids and a very talented musician. She had a group of her students play for the prelude and it was beautiful and heartwarming. I know music is important to Hannah and their selection of songs and musicians did not disappoint. It was just lovely. Her brother helped officiate the wedding and did a great job. One of my favorite things about this family is how much the siblings love each other and how evident it is. Dan fits right in and all the kids love him.

I had scouted the day before and found some beautiful Dogwood trees, I knew they would look just amazing in the golden hour light and I was so happy when the sun came out in time! Hannah really wanted a big field look for a few portraits. Normally this would be no problem for me. But Sandy Springs is hilly and forested, with no open fields to be found. We ended up going to a golf course and they graciously let us borrow a few golf carts to find the perfect spot. It was just grass and sky. The perfect storybook ending for this wonderful day.

Dan and Hannah’s day was truly beautiful, sweet, and God-honoring. I’m very happy to see these two amazing people find each other.
