The Inn at Irwin Gardens Wedding

Imagine a hidden venue, modeled after an Italian villa. The house and gardens are tucked away in charming Columbus Indiana. There’s a slight breeze, the sun is peeking in and out of the clouds. The flowers are in full bloom and there are fountains gurgling away. The mansion is filled with excitement and a bridal party getting ready for the day. This is how the scene was set for Grace and Shawn’s gorgeous, vintage-inspired wedding day.

Shawn and Grace went to the same college but didn’t actually meet till they went on a school trip to Ireland together. They became best friends and decided they didn’t want to live life without each other. So, after months of planning through unknows and a pandemic, they were married on a beautiful day in June. They were married outside, in front of family, friends, and a zoom call at The Inn at Irwin Gardens. They have such sweet and thoughtful personalities. Everyone in attendance felt loved and cared for.

Shawn gave her his grandmother’s ring…

As you’ll see Grace picked out a very unique wedding dress. It had a vintage vibe and was totally her style. Shawn gave her his grandmother’s art deco ring for their engagement. And everything including the wedding colors and the house fit the look perfectly. I gotta say Shawn seeing his bride for the first time has got to be one of my very favorite “first looks” I’ve ever photographed. The ceremony was heartfelt, and the guests were so glad to be there celebrating such a great couple. Overall, I don’t think the day could have been any more beautiful and I’m very happy for Shawn and Grace!
